2025-11-30
The last decorations are in place, signs
as well as decorations in the conservatory.
Tested and ready to be turned on today at 16:00.
2025-11-24
During the weekend I did the last touches on wiring
and then the testing of all lights started.
A few things here and there to be fixed.
The last things will be installed on Saturday, before
on Sunday when the lightshow will be turned on at 4PM.
2025-11-17
On the final stretch and most of the lights are now
in position. Now only a few small things, signs
and then testing all lights.
During the weekend the mickey mouse silhouettes, minitrees and the christmas presents have been installed.
Also this years new decoration is up in the
Mickey Mouse-flowerbed. There I've installed 39 poles with
5 lights each, 195 lights in total. All these lights can
be controlled and can create great effects.
2025-11-10
The Disneyland Castle is now up and the lights in the
remaining trees, so now is 30659 lights up.
The castle is built like a coulisse and has 3250 lights,
controlled by five control boxes, which can control each
and every light to whatever color I want.
Next weekend the remaining lights will be installed and after
that only some wiring and testing remains.
2025-11-03
70% is now up and only 10000 lights left to install.
The white artifical trees are up, which are decorated with
white light strings with 150 light on the small trees and
300 lights on the large one.
As well as the fontain which has 752 lights and light strings
with 2250 lights in all hedges around the garden.
The main control cabinet is also out and connected.
2025-10-29
Now I have put up more than half of all christmas lights.
20150 lights are now up and during the past weekend
the megatrees have been put up out in the garden.
The tallest is 4,5 meters high with 2229 lights. 2000 of them
are the smart RGB pixels lights where I can control the color
of each bulb to whatever color I want, which create
fantastic effects. The shorther tree has equal amount of
lights, but are made with traditional LED strings.
2025-10-20
The work continues and 14491 lights are now up.
The weather was again really good, altough a bit colder.
The two large fir trees has got their 2440 lights. They are
hoisted up to the top with wires. Then corrected and fastened to
the branches with some patience and a large stick.
Also the arches and the advent candle lights was installed.
2025-10-13
During this weekend I enjoyed unusually good weather for October.
Most of the lights are now up on the house and garage.
Icicles along the rooflines and the terrace, conservatory and
garage has got their garlands and lights.
Then I found time to start decorating some trees, so no
the work now continues out in the garden.
2025-10-06
Summer has passed, autumn is here and it is time again
to put up all the lights for this years lightshow.
In 55 days it is 30th of December and by then all should be done.
As always you can follow all the work here and this weekend I
spent 8 hours to put up 6268 lights, which is 18% of the total.
I've climbed the roof and placed all lights there, as well as
outlining all windows, doors and corners of the house.
