2017-11-26
Last weekend before the lightup is now done.
Everything is in position. I can now reveal
this years big news. I have built a copy of
the castle in Disneyland Paris (1/10th scale)
Its 5 meters tall and is built by two layers
to create some depth in it.
It is equipped with 3185 lights and most of them
is sitting with 5 centimeters spacing, creating
a huge RGB matrix. On this matrix we will be
able to create some amazing effects.
Now we look forward seeing how it will look
in the lightshow, in the darkness.
I can bring you some more detailed pictures
from the building process later.
2017-11-19
Now only one weekend remains to work
to get everything finished. Its only
small details, 552 lights and testing still
to do next week. During this weekend
I did install the white artifial trees
and also the big news for this year.

2017-11-12
During this weekend another 6000 lights have
been installed. The santa sleigh, fountain
and the advent candles have been installed.
Also all trees in the garden have got their
lights. Next weekend we will install this
years big news, also the white artificial trees.

2017-11-05
November is here and the work continues with full
speed. 20031 lights is now up, only 11157 lights left.
During this weekend the mega trees have been built up
out in the garden. 6457 lights have been installed.
The bigh 5 metre (15 feet) mega tree has 2861 lights
and the little one has 2246 lights.
I can also show you another sneak preview of the news.
2017-10-29
Another weekend has passed and we are almost
halfway into the installation of this years lightshow.
During the weekend all lights was installed in the
two big spruces. 1000 lights per tree.
Also the arches and mini trees under them was installed.
All lights that where put up this weekend was also wired
into their control boxes.
This time I will also give a little sneak preview of
how to work progress with this years big new thing.
2017-10-23
During past weekend a whole bunch of lights
was installed. All icicles is in position.
A new shed was built this summer, to give more
storage for lights. The shed was of course
given its own light string. I am also planning
to put an star or candelabra in the window.
9894 lights is now in place on house and garage
and the work is now proceeding out into the garden.
In secret the work also continues with this
years big news.
2017-10-15
The work installing this years lightshow have
now started. In one and a half month everything
should be ready. This year we aim over 31000 lights.
It means 3000 more lights than last year.
These 3000 lights will light up this years new
decoration, which is under production in the garage.
I will give you some sneak peak pictures
during the next weeks.
This weekend we put up 4100 lights on the house.
