2012-01-01
Today I have calculated what the lightshown
have consumed in power during December.
Maximum 430 kilowatt hours extra have been used
for the lights, aprox. 2,3 kilowatt per hour.
If all the lights have been always on, the figure
would have been 6,5kW/h, which gives a save of 65%.

Tonight I filmed and photographed the show.
Upon all the pictures I got this one.
It looks like all is covered in icicles, but
its cameramotion during exposure which made it.

Here comes some pictures from the visit to
Christmas on Liseberg in Gothenburg. On the pictures
you can see some of the 5 milion lights and the
over 100 meters high tower decorated with over
160000 lights. Stunning!
2010-11-27
Lightshow is on. We have stormy weather at the moment,
but I seem to have installed the lights well.
Here are some quick pictures taken with a mobilecam.

99% done.
Everything is wired and plugged in, only finetuning left.
Also the lightsshow is ready, which have been composed infront
of the computer. Let there be light!
2010-11-20
97% done, 17550 lights.
Lightarches and the white artificial trees is up.
The most is now also wired and plugged in.
Just the big controlbox left, which basicly controls what
the smaller boxes will do and most of the stuff in the yard.
2010-11-14
80% done, 14000 lights.
The Megatrees have been put up, includning
the new one, which replaces the old fruittree!
I didnt get any pictures of the finished trees,
because it got dark before I was finsished.
I have added some pictures which explains how
the treetopperstar was constructed.
First I drew the idea I had in Paint, then I made
it in right proportions in ScetchUp.
I then drew it on a woodboard, which I cuted out,
before I drilled holes and painted it. Finally I
installed the 144 lights.
2010-11-06
11000 lights is now installed = 60 %.
The two big pine trees now have 160 meters
of LED lightsstring. (Amber, white and multi)
Hedges have 750 multicolor LED lights.
Icicles and garlands are now up on the
garage, plus some other lightsstrings.
2010-10-31
7900 lights = 44% are now installed.
Iciclelights have been raised, two trees
have been decorated with 1200 lights.
Also the terrace have been decorated.
2010-10-23
4500 lights are now up.
2010-10-16
First 2000 lights is up. The most difficult part,
the roof, is now finished. Contours and stars.

A delivery of 1800 new lights have arrived. Lots of news.
