One day til Christmaseve.
We have got lots of snow over the last weeks.
We now have a snowdepth which is over 15 inches.
But most of the lights is visible, its only the
lights in the bushes and on the top of the roof
which isnt fully visible.

Localtelevision channel NT24 have been on a
visit this year too. Its strange that it takes
1 hour work for 2 minutes of tvspot.
It was cold and it was snowing that night.
See the the spot online here.

Everything is now done for the lightup tomorrow.
I have plans on doing a "behind the scenes"-movie
during daylight, so you will see how it works.
Here is a few pictures from the test.

This tuesday you could read about me in the local
newspaper. It was about my display and what to
think about when making a display outside.
The article haven't reaced online yet.

Now its all done. The arches and the artificial
white trees are up and wired in.
I even had time to test all the lights and controllers.
It works perfect and no broken strings.
I have counted to 48 hours to put all the lights up this year.
Next weekend the lightshow will be loaded and be tested
before Sundays big premiere. The signs is still to be
installed. The bigger part of the work is done, soon all
will be able to enjoy my crazy christmaslights!

During saturday, in sometimes downpoor, I built
up my megatree plus midi-trees.
During sunday I put up the santasleighwireframe and
started wiring into the main control box.
89 percent is now done. Next weekend I will put up,
the arches and the white artifical trees and the
remaining wireing.

Seasons first snowstorm have been over us.
No worry for the installation of the lights,
because all the lights in trees and house is up.
Upcoming weekend I will build up the megatree and
the midi-trees.

65 precent is now done. I have dressed up the two large
pinetrees with 1600 LED lights. Its hard and it takes time
to hang the lights with the telescopic pole.
They have grown a bit since last year, but it goes well
when you know how to do it. A sherrypicer would be great to have.
The result is great, which you will see when its ready.

51 percent done. Ran into some problems today.
One of my nice snowfall-icicle-lightstring (which hangs
on the front of the house) refused to work, so I had to
re-think and use another type of iciclelights.
They where planned to be used in another location, but it
will be like this instead. It has the snowfall-effect, so
I am happy with the reorganisation. The remaining two working
icicle-lightstring where placed on the terrace instead.
And the lightstrings that where supposed to hang on the terrace
where instead hung in a little tree, which wasnt planned to
be lighted. I am very happy with the result and the
work that has been done this weekend.

We got the first snow for the season the day before
I started hangling lights.
Now 29 percent is up, all on the house and roof.
The music is mixed, only to remake the lightshow to the
new tracks and add the new lightstrings.
Its easy to say, but it will be some hours infront of the
computer. Bellow you can see a few pictures of one of
the news for this year.

Just a week now til I will start hanging ligths,
so this weekend is last chance for preparations.
I have 5 weekends to work on before premiere weekend,
when I do all the final adjustments.
Bellow you can see a picture of my whitepainted ligthstrings
for my white artificial trees, which were new last year.
I use a special rubber-aerosol-paint, which I ran out of
last year, so I had to use normal paint on a few ones.
I have now repainted those with the right color.

The new lights have arrived. Very nice new lights!
I am very happy with the quality of the new multicolor
System LED. Its very near the colors of the incadesent
lightstring, but this is with LED bulbs och only
take 4 watt per string (against 26,5 watt incadesent).
On the picture you can see the new lightstring to the
right. The light is much brighter too, especially the
blue ones. The incadesent has very hard to be bright,
because of the dark glass. Very happy with it!
Now I can continue the preparation.

Planning has started. In two weeks a delivery of new
lights will come. The white lightstrings in the white
trees will be repainted. In one month the process of
puting up all the lights will start!
