2016-11-26
Tomorrow the lightshow will light up again.
Some more new lights have now been installed.
One new thing is that four candles have been
put up on the garage roof.
They are built with steel mesh with white fabric
around. The lights are RGB, so I can make
the flames move and flicker.
I can also control the color of the candles.
They are a part of the lightsshow and
one new candle will be lightup each sunday
when we get closer and closer to christmas.
2016-10-17
This sunday we had the tv-show recording
with all nearby fans on site as audience.
I think there were over 70 people here.
This have brought me alot of work to
put up all lights in time and also
have time for the tv-show recording
which have been over three days.
But of course it has been a lot of fun
also and a memory for life.
Now we re-charge for the real light-up
of the lightshow November 27th.
Til then I think I can make some
more decorations for this year.
2016-10-15
Today we installed the last pieces and then
I tested the lightshow.
Now everything is in top condition and
ready for the tv-recording.
After this we can rest til its time
to light up for this christmas season.
2016-10-12
During last weekend I invested alot
of time installing almost all of
the remaining lights. The white
artificial trees was installed at the deck.
The fountain was put up, as well as all
the lights in the trees.
Then I built all the megatrees in the yard.
New for this year is that I have bought
more white artificial trees.
They where installed in a new spot and
is decorated with white, red and blue lights.
The will for sure be syncronized to the music.
Our old mini spruce died this summer.
A new one is planted, but til it has grown
a bit, I have to install a minitree over it.
Now only remains some wiring and testing.
2016-10-04
The work goes on and almost half of all lights
is now in position. During this weekend I
installed the lights in the large trees.
For this year I have improved my hanging-pole.
It now has a clamp, instead of a hook, which
I can control from the ground with a wire.
With this I now easier can grab and move
around the lights up to 8 metres over ground
I have also installed the arches and all
the lights on the garage.
2016-09-27
This year I have started abit earlier than
usual to install lights.
I will soon explain the reason for that.
A positive side of starting early is that
its not too cold for the fingers yet.
I have already worked with the lights
for two weekends and almost everything
is installed to the house, around 9000 lights.
33% is ready.
